At first they directed me to Microsoft and offered me a help article but I told the person that this was relating to somekind of authentication timeout with GoDaddy and not a Microsoft issue. He then called through to another tech support whilst I was on the phone and they told me they had been working with Microsoft for a permanent fix and for now the fix they have to do is manual on each account.
