This is infuriating. I stumbled on the instructions RonF suggested on my own and also found this on my GoDaddy admin email site. It looks like it works for webmail access, but when I just called GoDaddy, the tech said that he got word from a senior engineer that they do NOT have any DFA for Office 365 emails.

At first they directed me to Microsoft and offered me a help article but I told the person that this was relating to somekind of authentication timeout with GoDaddy and not a Microsoft issue. He then called through to another tech support whilst I was on the phone and they told me they had been working with Microsoft for a permanent fix and for now the fix they have to do is manual on each account.
